We've knit the Linus shawl many times over the years because we love the simplicity of the design and how it is adaptable to a range of yarn weights and fiber content.
Liz modified the pattern a little bit to include some eyelet rows and a simple lacy edging. If you can knit two stitches together and do a yarn over, you can easily do this very simple lace!
Our summer Linus uses two balls of Amelia, a DK weight silk/cotton/linen blend, but you could easily make it larger by adding a third ball. Or, try our newest summer yarn, Berroco's Isola, a gradient cotton/linen blend, or Noro's Kakigori, a cotton/silk blend with those famous Noro colors. One 200g ball of Kakigori might make two!
