We just received our order of Knitting Barber cords, direct from Finland. These hollow silicone cables are used as stitch holders and are the greatest invention for sweater knitters!
You press the end of the cable onto the tip of your needle, and easily transfer stitches to hold to work later. This is really useful when working a top-down sweater and you have to separate the sleeves or want to try it on. Or maybe you just want to reclaim a favorite needle for a new project! This YouTube tutorial shows you how they work. They are sold in a set of three (two 30" and one 60") cords in a reclosable tin box.
