Introducing Shelter!

We are delighted to announce that we have become a stockist for Brooklyn Tweed, starting with the Shelter line.

Shelter is 100% US grown, worsted weight woolen-spun Targhee-Columbia wool. The Targhee-Columbia breed combines the softness and elasticity of finewool Targhee with the substance and warmth of mediumwool Columbia. This combination of wearability and durability makes Targhee-Columbia suitable for next-to-skin wear, outerwear, or heirloom pieces for the home. Woolen spun yarns are loftier than worsted spun yarns and can be knit at a variety of gauges. We have a swatch on display that shows this yarn knit on US 6 through US 9 needles. Shelter is fleece-dyed then blended, resulting in a palette of beautiful heathered shades. We have started with 20 colors, and will add more as we gauge your reception to the line.
